Interns

The Crime Resistance Unit maintains a close relationship with area colleges offering course in Criminal Justice. Many of those courses require students to spend a number of hours with an area police department. Students are allowed to shadow officers in the performance of their duties. Some college interns spend up to 120 hours assigned to various departmental units. Interns are also assigned to various projects being conducted by departmental members, and prove to be a valuable asset in compiling statistics and information.

Interns must be recommended by their school or instructor.
