Alice Magierski is a lifelong resident of the Town of Cheektowaga. She attended Villa Maria Academy and Villa Maria College. She is married to her husband, Larry, and she has three children. Her children attended the Cheektowaga-Sloan School District.  Alice worked for the Cheektowaga-Sloan School District for twenty-five years. The last ten years she has served as the district’s Treasurer. Alice was highly active in the PTO of the school during the years of her children’s attendance. During these times she also served as the PTO’s President.  Other organizations Alice has been active in are the Southside Little League Baseball Association, as Coach, and as standing member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Alice is a member of, and has served as Corresponding Secretary, to the Williams Street Taxpayers Association.

In her capacity as Town Clerk, Alice stays involved in the Erie County Town Clerk’s Association, where she serves as Secretary, and the Erie County Tax Receivers Association. Under her Town Clerk position she also serves as the Town’s Records Management Officer and Records Access Officer. As a result, just recently Alice has become a member of the New York State Association of Local Government Records Officers.  Alice was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister at Saint Frances of Assisi Church. She enjoys reading, walking and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.
