BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
(effective December 16, 2003)
Each application shall be accompanied by the required fee based upon the valuation of the structure or improvement except where a specific fee is provided herein. COMMERCIAL STRUCTURES
$10.00 per thousand for the first $100,000 valuation plus
$8.00 per thousand for valuation over $100,000 or fraction thereof.
(Minimum fee shall be $100.00) RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES
$7.00 per thousand for the first $100,000 valuation plus
$5.00 per thousand for valuation over $100,000 or fraction thereof.

In the event that work requiring a building or plumbing permit is commenced prior to the issuance of the permit or filing of
the permit, the fee for the permit shall be double the regular rate. This shall be in addition to any other penalty provided for under applicable laws.In the event an application for a
building permit is not approved or is denied or when a valid building permit shall have expired by limitation or abandonment, the applicant shall be entitled to a refund of 50%
of the fee paid with a minimum to be retained of $15.00.
